Prior to First Salon Experience

• Please come with a few inspiration pictures. It’s a great visual to have so we can talk about likes and dislikes as well as realistic expectations.

• Please come washed and styled with minimal product, hair down, detangled, dry, clean and NO ponytails or buns.

• Please have your hair detangled at the root of highly textured hair because it can alter the haircutting process. If this isn't done it will result in a reschedule and the cancellation fee (click on link to refer to policy) will apply.

• Please refrain from using Shea moisture, Cantu or any other heavy butter, oils or silicone based products prior to your appointment.

• I offer a detox kit for a low cost to remove build before you appointment if needed.

• Your first visit will take a minimum of 2hrs to 2.5 hours. Please do not schedule your first visit if you are in a time crunch

Salon Experience Expectations:

Please arrive 10 mins early to your appointment. I am by appointment only; which leaves very little time for clients to be late. Together we will discuss your hair history, products used, any previous chemical services that are impacting your curls, and expectations for your first visit. With your hair goals in mind we will talk about your future maintenance appointments.

Once we established your shape and length goals, we will then to proceed to the hydration experience, which includes detoxing and conditioning. We will discuss together how to get hydration into the how and the proper products for your curls. We will talk about proper products based on what you hair is telling us at the cleansing and conditioning station. Then once done here we will go back to the styling station and I will teach you how to properly style, dry and diffusing your curls to perfection.

We will recap and answer all questions about the experience, maintenance schedule for your curls needs, and discuss products that are available to be purchase while at the salon.

Please remember curly hair is a journey its about loving your curls that are on your head and not to compare. Patience and Practice are keys to happy and healthy hair.
